Nordiq Cup (COC)

Sovereign Lake will be hosting some of the best cross country skiers in Canada as they prepare themselves for the 2026 Olympics. The event will include athletes from 14 years old to the best of the best. Over 400 athletes with their coaches, parents and support will be joining us from November 27th to Nov 30th. This event attracts athletes from across the region and the country, so many will be staying on the mountain.
Be part of the experience by volunteering or just coming out to watch. Race days are on Nov 28th, 29th, and 30th, with the most exciting formats happening on the 29th and 30th. See the Sovereign Lake website for more information as it develops.
Many teams also visit early so that they can train for the high elevation so don’t be surprised to see them as soon as the snow starts sticking to the ground. Many others will be staying around to continue their training on the mountain after the event has completed.
