Nordiq Canada’s Cross Country Olympic & National Ski Team Meet & Greet

Join us for a special Nordiq Canada Athlete Meet & Greet during the Sovereign 2 SilverStar Ski Marathon! This free (or by donation) event offers an exciting opportunity for aspiring Olympians and Paralympians, fans, and ski enthusiasts to connect with members of Canada’s Cross Country Olympic and National Ski Teams.
Enjoy an engaging athlete panel featuring stories from the Olympics and World Cup circuit, training insights, and the road to high performance skiing, followed by an autograph signing and casual meet & greet with the athletes.

We’ve just had one of our most successful seasons ever: 2 individual Olympic top 10 finishes, 2 U23 World Ski Championships medals, 7 Paralympic medals, 3 Para Biathlon overall titles, and a U23 Overall World Cup title. Yet despite these results, our athletes are still competing shorthanded compared to their international competitors.
Canada’s athletes are currently paying out of pocket to represent Canada—something almost no other nation asks of its high performance athletes. With federal core funding stagnant for over 20 years, National Sport Organizations like Nordiq Canada struggle to provide the resources, staff, equipment, and support needed to remain competitive.
