Our local volunteer Mountain Hosts share the inside track on the best runs and hidden treasures.
You’ll find our Mountain Hosts in the center of the village and on the trails. They hold deep knowledge of all village facilities including the SnowSports programs, guest service offerings, restaurant recommendations, upcoming special events, mountain deals, and SilverStar’s Alpine and Nordic ski terrain… Got a question? Our Mountain Hosts have the answer (or at least, know someone who does).
Mountain Tours
Our volunteer Mountain Hosts have all the intel on everything Silver Star, including some of the easiest routes back to the village or your accommodation.
- Ski and Snowboard Tours: An introduction to everything that SilverStar has to offer, including recently-groomed terrain, spectacular viewpoints, shortest lift lines, secret powder stashes, and even must-visit spots for lunch, coffee, or après. Our Mountain Hosts will cater the tour to your ability level, share interesting local knowledge, and show you where to explore next.
- Cross-Country Ski Tours: Your Host will show you a sample of Canada’s largest daily groomed XC ski network and point you in the right direction for more exploration.
